Kathleen Leavy, R.N., A.P., graduated from Miami Dade Community College with an A.S. Degree in Biology, and Santa Fe Community College with an A.S. Degree in Nursing. She has 12 years experience in critical care and dialysis. Kathleen has studied herbal medicine since 1973, and has completed a two-year, certified course in Chinese Herbs. Kathleen has a Masters in Oriental Medicine and is certified as a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine by NCCAOM. In practice since 1992, Kathleen continues her studies of Contemporary Chinese Pulse Diagnosis with Dr. Leon Hammer and Classical Chinese Acupuncture with Dr. Tran Viet Dzung. Kathleen Leavy is a faculty member at Dragon Rises College of Oriental Medicine.
